SCDH COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS for IN-PERSON, INDOOR EVENTS
 UPDATED: In light of current Covid conditions: 8/2/22

 There is a strong possibility that we will require masks for IN-PERSON, INDOOR events.
Masks are not required for OUTDOOR events. We will have extra masks and hand sanitizer available at indoor events.

Vaccinations and boosters are highly recommended as the current Omicron strains are very contagious.
Masking is the only thing that offers at least some protection for the vaccinated and unvaccinated.

If you have Covid or any Covid symptoms (sore throat, fever, cough, nasal congestion), please think of others and do not come to an in-person event.

The Jam is set up so we can all play the tune we learned in the workshop together. (Those Zooming will be able to hear the in-person group.) This is the hope, depending on Covid status.

Guided practice the day after Ruth Smith’s special 4-hr workshop on Zoom. Continue the learning curve on the beautiful workshop tunes: (Advanced Beginning/ Intermediate)

Thanks to Tricia Paulsen for this wonderful idea and for inviting hammered dulcimer players to her home in Rolling Hills, Pales Verdes Peninsula.

BRING:
•Make sure you bring all workshop materials from Ruth Smith’s hammered dulcimer Focus class on Zoom held on 9/24/22 (9am-1pm).
•Resources - favorite traditional jam tunes.
•Music stand, your instrument and gear. PLEASE TUNE before our event.
•Hat; dress for the weather (TBD- outdoor or indoor event).
