JAMMERS GUIDE
What’s a Music Jam? Sharing and playing together! No experience
required. Sit in a circle, take turns, lead a tune OR ask that someone else lead it OR pass.
You can play the tune, Tab, or chords, depending on your experience and instrument.
LISTENING is as important as playing. Have fun!!
Skill Level: Beginner to Experienced
Basics: Don’t be critical of yourself. Tune before you play.
What to Take: Your instrument (acoustic / non-electric) and stand,
music stand and light, tuner or phone app, music books or sheet music — organized.
Notebook to keep track of tunes you like or want to learn.
Optional: seat cushion, cart or wagon to haul your gear.
